A little more about me
I have always been drawn to work that sits at the intersection of creativity, problem-solving, and real human impact. That is what initially pulled me into design, and it is still what drives me today. Over the last several years, I have worked across UX design, enterprise application modernization, graphic design, and cross-functional product collaboration, most recently supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives at Booz Allen Hamilton.
My work has involved everything from stakeholder discovery sessions and workflow analysis to wireframing, prototyping, accessibility advocacy, design QA, and implementation support. I enjoy taking complicated systems and helping turn them into experiences that feel intuitive, practical, and genuinely useful for the people on the other side of the screen.
What I think sets me apart from many other designers is that I do not approach design as decoration. I approach it as problem-solving. I ask a lot of questions, I like understanding how things work beneath the surface, and I care just as much about usability and feasibility as I do visual quality. Whether I am collaborating with developers, facilitating design discussions, or refining workflows to reduce friction, I try to be someone who keeps projects moving forward while staying thoughtful about the details. I have also been fortunate to work with teams that valued collaboration and trust, and feedback from peers and leadership has consistently highlighted my adaptability, organization, professionalism, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. I take pride in being someone people can rely on, especially in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly and communication matters.
Outside of work, I have always been a creative and outdoors-oriented person. I spend a lot of time kayaking, camping, woodworking, and exploring, and I think that mindset naturally influences how I approach my work. I like building things that are functional, thoughtful, and made with intention. Long term, I am especially interested in opportunities where I can contribute to organizations that are mission-driven, people-focused, and invested in meaningful experiences.
